X-Plode UK and Over The Top Aerobatics have formed a long term partnership that will take the team into 2005.
The teams Extra 300L will be branded in the stunning X-Plode UK livery and once again will be flown at most displays by the teams Chief Pilot, Rob Berger.
The X-Plode Extra 300L will be displayed at a number of National and International events through out the UK during the later half of summer this year. For the 2004 display season, our flying program will be extensive and the venues varied. Our web site will be up-dated as events are confirmed in our display calendar.
For this season the X-Plode Extra 300's display sequence has many new and exciting 'unlimited' gyroscopic manoeuvres. Our Chief Pilot describes what manoeuvres to watch for during the display and some of the secrets behind these gravity defying gyrations in the Pre Flight Briefing section.
The display will also have the usual entertaining and amusing commentary provided by John Mathcham, Over The Top's Team Manager. This season the interactive element with the pilot has been enhanced. John will be keeping you up-dated on the X-plode Extra 300 team activities in the Team Managers Corner of the web site.
The team is also pleased to announce that they have formed valuable sponsorship partnerships with both Exxon and Rise and Shine.
Exxon will be providing all the teams lubricants and the environmentally friendly smoke fluid, which is a clean burning vegetable based fluid. Exxon will also provide the teams oil analysis to ensure that the Extra's 300 horsepower Lycoming is in tip top condition. The team will be using Exxon's highly advanced semi-synthetic 'Elite' multi grade oil.
Rise and Shine will be responsible for valeting the X-plode Extra 300. Rise and Shine will also apply and maintain their unique Teflon paint protection to ensure that the X-Plode Extra 300 glistens at all her displays.
